so you want to know about me...

me? quite simple...a mom of 2 boys. a sister to 3...and many friends. creating is my passion, it is what moves my soul. i look at life as a journey and everything along the way makes the journey worth while. my desire to create came at an early age...while i sat by my mother's side at the table while she was painting...she helps inspire my creativity. there have been others along the way that have played a role as well, my children, sisters, dad, and a few special friends one in paticular... i hope this site will motivate you to create your life not just accept what is given.

inspired by:
everything...i can open a magazine and get lost for hours or stop at a thrift store and find all sorts of things that inspire me. i'm inspired by photos and surfing the web. my boys, family and friends... the book store is one of my favorite places to go for inspiration. in the summers i spend hours at this little fast food restaurant that has a covered patio...this site was dreamed up there. memories of my mom and her voice in my head! and of course you perry...who always encourages me when i'm about to lose it...

can't say that i have...never submitted a thing. i guess i just do it for the love of it.

why do i create...
ahh...to fill this inner calling that never goes away. i was born to create and my mom encouraged it from the time i could walk...i know no other life but this.

what do i create...
ha!...a little bit of this and a little bit of that...like most designers, whatever inspires me at the moment i guess...my favorite is altered art...and turning trash to treasure...i never use anything how it was intended...ha! what fun is that.
this was a wine rack...but i had to convert it into a magazine rack to hold my favorite craft magazines...

well you may know me for the clear handbags by Xpress You. that was my company. designed some products for another company that never quite made it to market.

still have a desire to create products for a company if i found the right company.

my love is designing products out of painted canvas. most of the products that i have designed have been storage type products.

if i could do anything...
i would do this...help designers, start up companies etc have the best angle on the market. deb and i have so many ideas that we don't have time to bring them to market. my focus at this point is to see this project all the way through...and then i would like to maybe design a line that pushes the edge...what's the use of creating if you hold back...

serious...what if ? it forces you to think outside the box

a thought...the journey, it's what you learn along the way, the friends you make, the memories made, the goals that are reached, the struggles, yes the heart aches...that makes the journey worth it...remember it's not the journey it's what happens on the journey...
