"I'm Kah-Mei, owner and founder of FontWerks, a new company that is already creating a buzz amongst scrapbookers and paper artists! Our first product line features 14 high quality alpha and numeric sets, using licensed fonts and made from deeply etched red rubber. FontWerks has the exclusive rights to some of these fonts, and others have come direct from my own hand (I'm a doodler at heart). You will definitely find products here that cannot be found anywhere else in the market!
I am a working mother, currently on an extended maternity leave, and trying hard to make my Fontwerks dream come true. I have been happily married to Rob for almost eight years and we have two beautiful children, Emily who is four and Cameron who just turned one. We live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
I credit a passage in the Bible that acted as a catalyst to taking the plunge in starting Fontwerks. In Proverbs 31 a woman is described as industrious, involved in commerce, in tune with her environment and happy with her handiwork. Although I cannot imagine being as perfect as she is, this woman has encouraged me to follow my heart, my dream, and work hard. A good idea is hard to find. I believe I have found one and I'm going with it!"
